Description
he Local Forum of French for the Future, in collaboration with the Campus Saint-Jean of the University of Alberta, will bring together 220 students from grades 10 to 12, from immersion and French as second-language schools in the Edmonton region and Northern Alberta on Friday February 23rd, 2018 to prepare for a future in French.
The Local Forum, which offers a full-day program, will enable students to discover the numerous possibilities (education, travel and work) that are available to them in French. Interactive activities and workshops, an inspiring conference and a concert are scheduled for this event intended for youth who actively study French. Students will have the opportunity to meet engaging mentors and bilingual professionals, to create links with students across the province, and to broaden their knowledge of a local and international francophonie—all of this, to fuel pride in the language that unites us!
This day has always been very popular with students in the past and this year, without exception, it will be a wonderful experience for the participants.
Come and discover the joy of the French language!
